Thistledown Farm is a small livestock farm located in the Northern Catskills of Upstate New York. We raise sheep, poultry and pigs in the forests, fields and valleys above the west branch of the Delaware River and we sell ready-to-eat food that is delicious, nutritious and fills our souls with comfort and joy. We are committed to using sustainable and regenerative practices that improve our food system, our environments and ourselves.

Our Products

  • Pasture Raised Poultry

    We raise flocks of chickens, ducks and turkeys, that live their lives on fresh pasture where they can follow their natural instincts to scratch and forage for insects and plant matter, producing a meat that’s rich in omega-3 fats and minerals.

  • Pasture Raised Pork

    Our pigs naturally root through meadows and forest lots, where they can forage for fallen fruits and nuts, follow their natural curiosity and playfulness.

  • Farm To Table Foods

    We use our meats and vegetables to produce a range of seasonal, comforting and nutritious pies, quiches, soups, stews, stocks, pates and terrines that we sell fresh and frozen at farmers markets!
